Dark Matter SPS Inshore Casting Rod series brings everything you love about Dark Matter to a wider audience. We have so many young anglers who love our brand but our products have just been out of reach financially. That ends with SPS. Our goal is to deliver quality, style and value. SPS brings all three in a price that even more anglers can afford. We took our very popular original inshore series and brought the price down without sacrificing the quality. Dark Matter SPS Inshore Casting Rods are built using a high quality Dark Matter blank that has been tuned to deliver the perfect action for inshore saltwater fishing. We outfitted them with premium cork grips for comfort and durability as well as braid friendly guides and a great graphite trigger reel seat.

Once we were certain these rods would deliver the high performance that our customers demand, we got to work on style. We wanted SPS to appeal to a wide audience so we harkened back to a classic design with a modern twist. We painted the rod jet black with a glossy finish. The guide wraps are a beautiful shade of light blue with white accents so they really pop. Combine this with the cork grips and you have a timeless design.
