These rods are built on lightweight Dark Matter blanks that were designed specifically to handle a wide range of finesse techniques while maintaining excellent sensitivity. Whether you're fishing a NED rig along the bottom or working a weightless soft plastic through cover, the blank transmits subtle bites and movement so you can stay connected to your bait at all times.

The handle features premium cork grips paired with a comfortable graphite spinning reel seat that allows your hand to stay close to the blank for maximum feel. This ergonomic design keeps the rod lightweight and balanced while still providing the strength needed for fighting fish.  

Dark Matter SPS Bass Spinning Rods are outfitted with durable guides that perform extremely well with braided fishing lines while also handling fluorocarbon with ease. The guide layout helps maintain smooth casting performance and reliable strength when fighting fish.
