Dark Matter Planet X Slow Pitch Jigging Spinning Rods are built for fishing with jigs. These are Japanese style slow pitch jigging rods. They start with Dark Matter carbon blanks that are designed to maximize the action of slow pitch jigs. This means a soft tip with a rod that flexes completely through the length of the blank. They are outfitted with Fuji Alconite K Guides that are made for fishing braided fishing lines. To reduce weight these rods feature very little from the reel seat down but what they do is very important. The foregrip is short but fat EVA for comfort. The rear of the rod is a split grip with custom shaped EVA at the back end so when you tuck it under your arm it feels right. A polycarbonate gimbal eliminates the rod spinning in the holder. As with all rods from Dark Matter, they finished off these great slow pitch rods with a splash of color. A Carolina Blue paint job with matching wraps with a touch of white really makes this rod stand out from the crowd. It looks as good as it performs and will give you even more happiness on the water, which is always welcome.

Dark Matter Planet X Slow Pitch Jigging Spinning Rods are 5'8" and available in two models. Choose from a 340g and 500g models. While they are intended for slow pitch jigging, many anglers enjoy these rods for inshore fishing. They are a lot of fun to fish and get sold hookups!
