When we set out to design the Juggernaut Vertical Jig, our goal was simple: build a tuna jig that could withstand the punishment of modern bluefin and yellowfin tuna fishing while delivering the action needed to trigger bites.

Every component of the Juggernaut was selected with strength and durability in mind. We rig each jig with a premium BKK 5X assist hook attached to heavy-duty Kevlar cord and secured with a heavy-duty split ring capable of handling the extreme pressures that come with targeting powerful tuna. To give anglers additional rigging options, every Juggernaut Vertical Jig includes two extra assist hooks right in the package.

The 100g model comes rigged with a 4/0 BKK 5X assist hook and includes additional 3/0 and 5/0 hooks. The 150g and 200g models come rigged with 5/0 BKK 5X assist hooks and include additional 3/0 and 4/0 hooks.

WHY WE DESIGNED THIS

We designed the Juggernaut to solve a simple problem: tuna anglers shouldn’t have to replace the hardware on a brand-new jig before fishing it. We wanted a vertical jig with the action and glow patterns to get bit, but rigged from the start with BKK 5X hooks, heavy-duty Kevlar and hardware capable of handling serious bluefin and yellowfin.

ANGLERS ARE ASKING

The Juggernaut was designed primarily for bluefin and yellowfin tuna, but its heavy-duty construction also makes it a great choice for other powerful pelagic species.

Each jig comes rigged with a premium BKK 5X assist hook, heavy-duty Kevlar cord and a heavy-duty split ring, so you don’t have to immediately replace the factory hardware before putting it to work.

We include two additional BKK 5X assist hooks with every jig so anglers can change hook size and adjust their rigging to match the situation.

The different weights let you adjust to depth, current and how quickly you need to reach the fish. The 100g is the lightest option, while the 150g and 200g give you additional weight for deeper water and stronger current.
